STL seeks a person with solid experience in the analysis, design, development, and support of object-oriented applications. Experience with objected-oriented design and development; programming experience in high-level languages under Windows; and a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related fields are required. Preference is given to those with development experience in Smalltalk, C++, or Java, and with outstanding teamwork and communications skills. The successful candidate must be a U.S. citizen and able to qualify for a Department of Energy "Q" clearance. Overnight travel to user sites is required. At STL, the person will be actively involved in all aspects of building top-quality software, with major responsibility for design, coding, validation, and support.
