Architecture Annex to open soon

Spectrum Volume 20 Issue 29 - April 23, 1998

Faculty and administrative staff members will be able to move back into their offices in the Architecture Annex by April 30, said Bill Elvey, director of Physical Plant. Repairs have proceeded on schedule to the closed building, which was heavily damaged by an electrical fire on December 16. Elvey's crew is currently working on the upper-floor walls.
In addition to the fire damage, repairs are being made to fix a leak in the building's roof.
The ground floor and basement will still need some interior finishing--installing doors, painting, covering floors--after the faculty and staff members move back into their offices on the upper floors. Elvey said his goal is to complete this work before Commencement on May 9.
