Spectrum Volume 21 Issue 05 - September 24, 1998

President Paul Torgersen will address the university community on the state of the university Oct. 12, at 4 p.m. in the Donaldson Brown Center auditorium. The presentation is open to anyone interested.
Torgersen will address events of the past year, the success of the capital campaign, issues affecting Virginia Tech and higher education, and directions for the coming years. Department heads are encouraged to allow classified staff members to attend, but should also use their own discretion to ensure coverage of normally assigned duties.
