A bar graph accompanying a MetroNews story Friday about the
cruising ordinance at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront indicated 409
cruising summonses were issued between April 15 and 21. It should
have been between April 15 and May 21. The same graph incorrectly
reported no cruising is allowed between 2 p.m. and 2 a.m. on
Atlantic Avenue. In fact, it is from 2 p.m. to 4 a.m.

A gun-permit applicant may be required by a judge to have
firearms training, under a new concealed-weapon law that goes into
effect July 1. A story in Friday's MetroNews section erroneously
said that applicants must be trained in firearms use.
