Of the 57 government witnesses in a Norfolk federal drug trial that
ended Wednesday, 21 are serving jail terms. A story Thursday
incorrectly identified the number of witnesses serving time.
Correction published Friday, May 5, 1995.
Robert B. Gillins did not testify against former associates and
relatives in a Norfolk drug trial, as stated in a MetroNews story
Thursday. Also, a Queens, N.Y., woman was misidentified as the
sister of defendant Samuel B. Kelly. She is Kelly's wife and
Gillins' sister, and testified against Kelly.

A witness at the trial of Clark C. Bedsole testified Thursday
that, in January 1994, Bedsole admitted hiring someone to kill his
wife. The alleged triggerman, Marlon Williams, is scheduled to be
tried in July on capital murder and firearms charges. MetroNews
stories Thursday and Friday had the dates wrong.
