Virginia Beach developer Alan Resh, who wants to build a Moyock
subdivision called The Plantations, offered to pay Currituck County
officials $6,000 per lot only for 172 lots, not the 601 lots that
were mentioned in a story last Thursday. When Resh bought the
property, a 429-lot subdivision already had been approved and he
offered to pay for the additional lots planned.
