House in Virginia. A New York Times story Thursday on the 130th
anniversary of the Civil War surrender had a wrong date.

The president general of the United Daughters of the Confederacy is
Margaret S. Palmer. An article Thursday about the 130th anniversary
of the Civil War surrender had her last name wrong.
