Once the eastbound span of the Wright Memorial Bridge re-opens in
May, both lanes will not be shut down again. State Department of
Transportation officials said, however, that one lane at a time may
have to be closed on the old bridge after Labor Day if repairs have
not been completed. An article in Thursday's North Carolina section
contained incorrect information.
